The MDS Group has announced the integration of Marlow Caución Estructurada into its operations in Spain, in line with its strategy of expansion and consolidation across Iberian markets.
Marlow is a broker that specializes in quasi-financial products and services including political risk coverage in its broadest sense, the structuring of financial coverages, credit insurance, and surety insurance linked to national and international contracting. The broker manages surety programmes for multinational and large companies developing projects not only in Spain and Portugal but also in Angola, Romania, the Nordic countries, Brazil, Costa Rica, Australia, and Chile, among other.
The move, which enables MDS to expand its service offering into a new strategically important, and highly specialist business area, is the fifth integration for MDS Spain this year. It follows the creation of business units in corporate risks, reinsurance, financial lines, and marine insurance.
